Serving the greater Dayton area, we are a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
Using clinical collaboration and advanced technologies, we provide a personalized care plan designed to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals.
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital uses an interdisciplinary team approach that includes physical, speech and occupational therapists, rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, dietitians and more, combined with our advanced technology and expertise, to help you achieve your goals. You will receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week while under the constant care of registered nurses, many of whom specialize in rehabilitation, and frequent independent private practice physician* visits.
Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies, as needed.

Chief Executive Officer
Lynne brings more than 35 years of healthcare experience to The Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio, a joint venture between Premier Health and Encompass Health. An Ohio native, Lynne graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. She received her master’s degree in business administration from Walsh University in addition to a certificate in healthcare management. Prior to joining Encompass Health, Lynne served as the vice president of Akron General/Edwin Shaw Rehabilitation Hospital in Akron, Ohio.
Interim Medical Director
Dr. Mamlouk joined The Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio, a joint venture between Premier Health and Encompass Health as the interim medical director* in October 2017. He has experience in acute care, long term acute care and inpatient rehabilitation. Dr. Mamlouk completed his medical doctorate at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Aleppo, Syria, and his residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Mich. Dr. Mamlouk is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics.

Chief Nursing Officer
Trisha joined Encompass Health in 2015 as the director of quality & risk. She brings more than 15 years of nursing and leadership experience. Trisha has a broad base of healthcare experience in acute care and long-term acute care and clinical research at Wright State University. During her career, she has primarily served in a Level 1 trauma center ICU, along with PACU, quality management and clinical research. Trisha holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Cincinnati.
Director of Therapy Operations
Kenneth has worked for 18 years in the healthcare industry with experience in both inpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing as a speech-language pathologist and in management positions. He had been with The Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio, a joint venture between Premier Health and Encompass Health for more than six years in the therapy role before transitioning to the director of therapy operations position. Some of his most fulfilling roles have been as a clinical instructor/supervisor of graduate level speech and hearing science students. He attended Brigham Young University and received his master’s degree from The Ohio State University. He participates in volunteer activities as a referee for USA swimming and enjoys woodworking and outdoor pursuits with his family.
Business Development Director
Kim started her career in medical marketing more than 15 years ago. Her varied sales background includes surgical instruments, respiratory medications and home health services. She has been a rehab liaison for three years. During her time as a rehab liaison, she was able to build and sustain relationships, promote the benefits of inpatient rehabilitation and increase referrals in her territory. Kim joined Encompass Health in 2015 as the director of marketing operations leading the marketing and admissions teams. She attended Wright State University.
Natasha joined The Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio, a joint venture between Premier Health and Encompass Health in 2015 with more than 11 years of accounting experience. Prior to joining Encompass Health, she served as a director of accounting in an acute care hospital setting. Natasha earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Director of Quality and Risk
Minu Nair joined The Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio, a joint venture between Premier Health and Encompass Health as a physical therapist in March 2017 with more than seven years of clinical experience in the USA and India. She earned Master of Health Science degree from University of Indianapolis, Ind. She is a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist, certified stroke rehabilitation specialist and APTA credentialed clinical instructor. As a representative of stroke team, she has contributed in strategic planning and execution of action plans in quality improvement committees.
Director of Human Resources
Patty brings more than 26 years experience in human resources, with 21 years in a hospital environment. Prior to coming to The Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio, a joint venture between Premier Health and Encompass Health, she worked at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, another Encompass Health facility for almost seven years as an HR generalist. She is PHR and SHRM-CP certified. She attended Ashland Community College, an affiliate of the University of Kentucky in Ashland, Ky.
Director of Plant Operations
Grant joined The Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio, a joint venture between Premier Health and Encompass Health in 2014 and serves as the director of plant operations and safety officer. He received his associate's degree in construction management from Sinclair Community College as well as a bachelor’s in business management from Wright State University.
Director of Pharmacy
Milon was named the director of pharmacy in September 2015, after helping to open the rehabilitation pharmacy at the Dayton location and performing as a staff pharmacist for five year. Before coming to Encompass Health, Milon spent 17 years as the managing pharmacist at an independent pharmacy located in a medical clinic in Columbus, Ohio. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy.
