At Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Washington Regional, we are committed to helping you regain independence after a life-changing illness or injury. Located in Fayetteville serving northwest Arkansas, we are a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation for stroke, hip fracture, Parkinson’s disease, amputation and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
Using clinical collaboration and advanced technologies, we provide a personalized care plan designed to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals.
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital uses an interdisciplinary team approach that includes physical, speech and occupational therapists, rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, dietitians and more, combined with our advanced technology and expertise, to help you achieve your goals. You will receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week while under the constant care of registered nurses, many of whom specialize in rehabilitation, and frequent independent private practice physician* visits.
Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies, as needed.

Chief Executive Officer
Janette Daniels joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Fayetteville in September 2020. She most recently served as CEO of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Encompass Health.Janette started her career with Encompass Health in 2009 and has previously served in the positions of associate administrator and human resources director. She has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience. In her role as CEO, serving others is her most important objective. When not working she enjoys hiking and any adventure with her six grandsons.
Medical Director
Dr. Matinchev received his undergraduate degree from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois and his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara. He completed his residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Dr. Matinchev has been with Encompass Health since 1999.

Chief Nursing Officer
Dina Cox has served as the chief nursing officer of Encompass Health Fayetteville since April 2020. She brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare. From 2007 to 2019, she served in various leadership positions with CHS and Baptist Health including manager of inpatient surgery, director of medical surgical units, senior psychiatric unit, dialysis, and inpatient wound care. Dina holds an associate’s degree in nursing from Westark Community College, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
Director of Quality and Risk Management
Martin Harmon joined Encompass Health Fayetteville in 2013 as a physical therapist with more than 20 years’ experience in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. In 2014, he became the PPS Coordinator, where he used his therapy knowledge and medical coding skills to improve organizational outcomes. Martin joined the hospital’s leadership team in November 2017 as the director of quality and risk management overseeing patient-focused outcomes and patient safety.
Human Resources Director
Kay joined Encompass Health in Fayetteville in March 2020. She has more than 21 years of human resources experience, which includes HR management roles in acute health care, the occupational health screening industry, manufacturing, and education. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in personnel administration.
Business Development Director
Brandia has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience with an emphasis in business development. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree and Master’s degree in human resource development from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Brandia joined the leadership team at Encompass Health Fayetteville in September 2018.
Program Director, Neurology
Dr. Hunt graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2014 and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Hunt joined Encompass Health in August 2018.

Director of Pharmacy
Certified Director of Case Management
Sirod joined the leadership team of Encompass Health in August 2013. She holds a bachelor’s in nursing from Arkansas State University and has been a registered nurse since 1991 and began her career in case management in 1993. Sirod has been a Certified Case Manager since 1999 with a case management background in acute care, managed care, insurance and TPA, home health, critical care, international catastrophic care and rehabilitation. Sirod is an active volunteer in the community and serves on the board of directors at the Arts Center of the Ozarks.
Controller
Stroke Program Director
Dr. Tremwel practices as a stroke neurologist and serves as medical director of Washington Regional Medical Center's Comprehensive Stroke Program. Dr. Tremwel, who has been in practice as a stroke neurologist since 2001, earned her medical degree from the University of Florida, where she also completed her neurology residency. She completed a fellowship in cerebrovascular disease and stroke from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is board certified in neurology and vascular neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Tremwel joined Washington Regional in 2014 as the medical center expanded its neuroscience services to include advanced treatment options not available elsewhere in the region.
Director of Plant Operations
Adam joined Encompass Health in 2012 as a maintenance mechanic. He completed the Encompass Health Plant Operations Manager training program and was promoted to director of plant operations in February 2018.
Director of Therapy Operations
Denice has been with Encompass Health since its opening in 1991. She received her master’s degree in speech pathology/language pathology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She has served as the director of therapy for more than 20 years.
